RAINBOWTINYTOTS SCHOOL

Middle School Programme - Classes VI to VIII

The Middle School Programme is structured to engage children's different intellectual and developmental requirements. The curriculum is a combination of concepts and skills acquired in the Primary School. It secures progression and continuity beyond various stages of studying in the school and includes continuous evaluation and analysis of children's achievement.

The main purposes of the Programme are enhancing skills associated with writing, reading, reflecting, critical thinking, public speaking, encouraging initiative amid students and a passion to acquire knowledge. Educational subjects include English, Hindi, Mathematics, Science, History, and Geography. Art, Drama, Computer studies and many more are blended into the mainstream curriculum and are additionally extended as optional co-curricular ventures.

PSHE (Personal, Social, Health Education) accommodates students to address their age-specific concerns and anxieties, builds awareness, and supports compassionate and moral conduct. Physical Education is given more formally and sports facilities are fine-tuned. This qualifies students to continue sports in a more structured and deliberate manner.

The Integration Project showcases the experience and skills gained by students in different subjects and works as a concrete step towards improving inter-disciplinary programs in later years. Field trips and excursions help in developing group skills and in building awareness about the world. Projects, presentations and group activities are more social and research-based. Inter-house cultural and sports tournaments promote healthy competition and team spirit. Students start to contribute to class assemblies, concerts and drama productions and take up roles of duty. Community service is given through school started programs and partnerships with NGOs
